afterlife anatomy: doe and fetus

Hello! My name is Katie Innamorato (Afterlife Anatomy) and I create artwork using roadkill, donated/gifted, and found or scrap animal parts.

My work has been featured on the hit TV show Oddities, and has been displayed on the NY Times website. By using recycled items, either from roadkill or rejected skins, I am respecting the animal and giving new life to something that otherwise would have been thrown away or forgotten. This is the principle I stand behind when I am creating something. I have a passion for breathing new life into things that most people would not think twice about using. I am constantly scouring the roads around me looking for roadkill to use in my artwork.
